Real Name: James Dean (really! I couldn't
make this up) Nick is because in my "dayjob" I call myself a
systems plumber. If I measure my age in "Internet Time" I'm
dead. Scary. If it has to do with computers I've probably touched it at
some point. Also Scary. I have been known to "teach someone to
build a clock, when all they asked was the time." I occasionally
pine for the days of 8-bit home computers, Samizdata, and lately gopher
and when you had to compile your own web browser.
<sigh>
I loath instant messaging (especially ICQ and AIM) and chat (especially
IRC). Don't ask why. Don't srgue. Don't get me started. |

i am currently working on a hack to an actiontec router that is running uclinux.
we plan to rewrite parts of the os to include more stuff that we think it needs to suit our purpose.
i am also working on the same model as above but turning one into a complete node for my soon to be mobile node truck. |
